Ahoy me matey’s it’s a Pirate Party!

Year 1 had an absolutely fantastic day being Pirates during our Pirate party on Monday!Β In the morning, we were so lucky to get the chance to meet two real Parrots as Pirate Khun Aon brought them in especially just for us! We were all so brave and some of us even let the beautiful parrots sit on our shoulders.

After break, we had lots of fun making Pirate snacks including captain’s cupcakes, fish and chips and even crabwiches! We had a super treasure hunt in the afternoon and then ate all our yummy treats! Year 1 just love being Pirates!! Arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Super Science Day!

On Wednesday, Year 1 had a great morning being scientists and showing all their friends their fantastic experiments that they did at home. We even got some time to test them out in class and amaze our friends!

After that we made Pirate slime, Pirate bombs, went on a Pirate treasure hunt and even wrote some secret Pirate messages. We learnt some new words such as acid, explode, solid, liquid and gas! It was so much fun and we are now super Pirate scientists!

Year 1 visit ‘Build a Bear’!

On Monday, Year 1 had a super trip out the the ‘Build a Bear’ workshop
at Central Chidlom.

After eating out snack on the bus, we made our way up to the 6th floor
to start our workshop.

First, we all got to chose a brown or white bear and then we all got
given a heart to put in our bear to make it come alive – we even had
to make a wish. After that, we had to stuff our bears to make them
cuddly and we gave them a name! It was so much fun.

Later on, we had fun playing in the soft play area with our friends
and walked around the store looking at some of our favourite toys.

Finally, it was time to come back to school and eat lunch! What a fab
day we’ve had and we can’t wait to play with our new bears!
